During our talk on Thursday, I drew my view of the Red-Green-Refactor state machine. I see people draw it as the triangle, but that can confuse newbies who think that the result of refactoring is the red state! Yes, the triangle is simpler and prettier, but this is what I inevitably end up drawing when giving a TDD talk:

Update: Mitch asked me how this related to the pairing game talk we did, and initially I said "this is about TDD, not the game". However, I should go ahead and clarify: if you're playing the game, then every arrow on this diagram means passing the keyboard. Every arrow is an action, and every action causes the keyboard to pass.
